Reach residents on their phones, let neighbours talk without sharing phone numbers, and keep events and amenity bookings in one calendar.
What it does
| Part | What it does |
|---|---|
| Announcements | Managers send to the whole community or one building, delivered as an in-app notification and push in each resident’s language. The sender sees a count, never names. |
| Messages by role | Conversations show “Tenant · C102 – Building C” or “Management”, never a name or phone. Topics, filters, internal staff notes and quick replies; a conversation can become a maintenance request. |
| Forum | Off until management switches it on. Posts publish first; 3 reports hide a post until management decides. |
| Calendar | Events, board meetings and amenity bookings in a month view, with .ics export to a phone calendar. |
| Amenity booking | Bookings wait for approval unless the amenity needs none. Weekly series of 2 to 8 weeks, with capacity checked on the server. |
| Contact directory | Opt-in only: each person chooses what is shown and to whom. |
How it works
1. Write the announcement
In English or Arabic.
2. Choose the audience
The whole community or one building.
3. BAB delivers it
A notification and push to each resident.
4. Residents reply
Through role-addressed messages, if needed.
5. Track the topic
Staff mark who is handling it and resolve it.
What BAB doesn’t do
- No email announcements. Announcements go by in-app notification and push.
- No live calendar sync. Events export as .ics files.
- No amenity payments.
Who uses it
- Residents: owners, owner representatives and tenants.
- Management: community admin, property manager and building committee.
- Event coordinator: community events.
Pricing
Included in BAB’s price: $3 per door per month, capped at $149 a month for communities of up to 300 doors, after a free 90-day pilot. Residents pay nothing when the association subscribes. See everything BAB includes.
